How to create a follow-up order from a complaint

You'll use this at the dental lab when you want to raise a complaint about an order that has already been sent.

  1. Open the order and click Complaint in the order menu (three-dot icon).

  2. Add internal notes in the window that opens, if needed.

  3. Check the Goodwill checkbox if the complaint is being handled as a goodwill case.

  4. Click Create follow-up Order.

Note: Complaint only becomes clickable in the order menu once the order reaches In-Delivery status. Before that, the menu item is greyed out.

What happens next

After clicking Create follow-up Order, Crownbeam creates a new order linked to the original one. It appears as its own tab next to the original order in the order view, labeled Complaint — for example "190042 Complaint" next to "182919 Order".

For an overview of every card and menu item in an order, see The structure of an order.
