How to request custom or new indications

You request custom or new indications using the request form. The Crownbeam team then adds them to your Product Catalog. This guide is for dental labs. If you are a dental practice and an indication is missing when you place an order, contact your lab directly.

  1. Open the request form and create your own copy: File → Make a copy.

  2. Fill out the form. Add one row for each indication you want to request, including:

    • Category

    • Indication

    • Material

    • Variant

    • Tooth / jaw

    • Whether a shade selection should be requested

  3. Send the completed form to [email protected].

  4. The support team will review your entries and add the indications to the catalog.

  5. Once the new indications appear in your Product Catalog, activate and configure them yourself: click Offer for each indication and enter a Production time. You can find the individual steps in Create an indication in the product catalog.

Tip: If you can't see the new indications for a material in the Product Catalog, first tick that material at the top under Which materials do you support?, for example ceramics.

Tip: If you need the same indication for multiple materials or variants, enter each combination as a separate line — e.g. zirconium oxide monolithic and zirconium oxide veneered as separate entries.

Note: Existing indications cannot be renamed or have their behavior changed — only new indications can be added.

FAQs

Can I rename an existing indication?

No. Existing indications cannot be renamed or changed. You can only request new indications to be added.

How long does it take until the new indication is available?

The support team reviews all entries before adding them. For any questions, please contact [email protected].

How do I request an indication that lets me select individual teeth?

You request an indication with individual tooth selection using the request form. In the row for that indication, enter the single tooth selection under Tooth / jaw. The single tooth selection then replaces the Upper Jaw and Lower Jaw selection, so in the order you only select individual teeth. You don't need a separate row for every tooth combination.

If individual tooth selection is rarely needed for this indication, you can enter the teeth in the order in the Additional instruction field instead.
