You can also bundle tasks into workflows, to load several tasks into an order at once with a single click.
To do so, click Add next to Workflows on the right to create a new workflow. Give it a name and click Save.
Add the tasks to the workflow in the order you want via drag & drop.
Done. Now you can also click and add workflows within an order.
Example of a workflow bundle
A workflow bundle is worthwhile as soon as several tasks always come up together, in the same order. A workflow called "Example Workflow" might bundle the four tasks Model, Production, Rework, and QC.
Instead of adding each of the four tasks individually in the order via the plus icon, you click directly on the workflow name.
All four tasks are loaded into the order at once, in the saved order.
Tip: Build workflows for processes that genuinely always happen in the same order at your lab. For exceptions, adding individual tasks via the plus icon in the order is still available.
FAQs
How do I bundle several tasks into a workflow?
Under Settings → Tasks, click Add next to Workflows, give the workflow a name, and drag the tasks you want into it in the right order via drag & drop. In the order, you then load the entire workflow with a single click.
Can I assign tasks individually instead of via a workflow?
Yes. Workflows are a shortcut for recurring processes. You can still add individual tasks at any time via the plus icon in the order.
Where do I keep track of all assigned tasks at the lab?
Under Dashboards → Open Tasks, you see all tasks from every team member. Under My Tasks, you see only your own. More on this in Track tasks.
